  1. Year of the Rooster

2 freakin' MONTHS gone to waste!!!

I can't remove the nest boxes or else there will be a gaping hole in the side of the coop. That's just how the design is. Thanks everyone who helped. And those who didn't.. I have enough crap on my plate with school, work, and extracurriculars. It was a simple vent along with some needed help...
  2. Year of the Rooster

2 freakin' MONTHS gone to waste!!!

Quote: And if you're not going to help then I suggest you not post. I don't mind the poop, but I just don't want it in the nest boxes. When the boxes were blocked off she slept right on the roost where I wanted her to. Unfortunately I can't remove the nest boxes. They are part of the structure.

2 freakin' MONTHS gone to waste!!!

  6. Year of the Rooster

2 freakin' MONTHS gone to waste!!!

Quote: No, and I thought of that being a possibility. I want to ad a higher roost in there. That's one of the reasons why I don't like the design that we bought.
  7. Year of the Rooster

2 freakin' MONTHS gone to waste!!!

Quote: Because she is a YEAR OLD for god's sake and should know by now NOT to. Nest boxes are called nest boxes for a reason. Same thing with roosts. And she has been laying since Feb./March.
