well the wife came and got me this evening before they were put in for the night. the swelling has gone down by half. some of the redness has cleared up. I will see how she is in the morning. try and get a fresh pic of her face to compare to.

Yes there is a bit of dried blood. I have a hunch she had vomited it up. there was a pink hue on her feathers as well down her neck. I think i am going to take the swallowed wasp angle and check her for that. we have loads of them here and didn't think it could have been an issue.
