    ...and rather inaccurate. Just because it floats, doesn't mean it's 'bad', just older. Floating an egg will only tell you how old it might be. They float due to evaporation when older. It will not tell you if an egg is 'good' or 'bad'. Plus then you've wetted the egg so it should be thoroughly...

    Because in the future if someone wants to study this for info they don't need to be wading thru a bunch of chatter. There are chat threads/forums for that.

    I've been on forums for 20 years, they used to be self regulating/moderating by the members/participants which worked pretty well. The mods can't be everywhere all the time.
