...and rather inaccurate. Just because it floats, doesn't mean it's 'bad', just older. Floating an egg will only tell you how old it might be. They float due to evaporation when older. It will not tell you if an egg is 'good' or 'bad'. Plus then you've wetted the egg so it should be thoroughly...

Thought about it, but it's a public issue...will do so in the future, because one post didn't seem to get the message across. ...and had planned on having most this chatter removed.

Because in the future if someone wants to study this for info they don't need to be wading thru a bunch of chatter. There are chat threads/forums for that.

I've been on forums for 20 years, they used to be self regulating/moderating by the members/participants which worked pretty well. The mods can't be everywhere all the time.

Off topic chatting should go somewhere else, so as not to detract from the thread topic. It's just polite forum etiquette that many don't seem to be aware of so need to be reminded.
