Do (or did) you do this when you used regular planting containers? I haven’t ever rinsed or sanitized them after use, but I think it’s a good idea.

Thank you! I’ll see what I can come up with this weekend. We have to do a little bit of work to devise a way to keep the chickens out anyways, so a little border is in line with that.

Ugh I know! It gets so warm in there during the day then plummets at night. Sometimes I hate Wyoming! I wonder if they just do much better directly sowed in the ground. I’ll plant some directly in the ground in a few weeks and be able to compare the outcome.

Yes, I’ll do that. I only have the kind you mix into a watering can for right now. I’ll get liquid kind tomorrow. Like I said this is all an experiment for me because a) I’ve never used a greenhouse before and b) I’ve never grown flowers from seed before!

And the tomatoes, plus a poor attempt at some squash.

Also here are the sunflowers in the greenhouse! I know they’d do fine being started from seed in the ground once it’s nice enough, I’m just experimenting! But please tell me what I’m doing wrong to get the crusty leaves!
