I still have a bunch in the greenhouse, temps are just too cold here at night! But I wanted to share, because I am happy with the progress most things have made! About 5 or so tomato plants doing well, what varieties they are, though, I couldn’t say. I lost their markers during transplant! 🤦🏽♀️...
Ah dang it for the cauliflower. I think I’d still try if it were just a few leaves. Last year I had quite a few leaves get destroyed on my cauliflower by some hail and I just chopped them off and it eventually recovered and kept growing. It would’ve done well had it not gotten infested with...
Thank you! I’ll see what I can come up with this weekend. We have to do a little bit of work to devise a way to keep the chickens out anyways, so a little border is in line with that.
That is so amazing, i had no idea! Maybe I could even start some this weekend. Temps are in the 60s/70s during the day and upper 30s/40s at night. I’ll have to try it.
Ugh I know! It gets so warm in there during the day then plummets at night. Sometimes I hate Wyoming!
I wonder if they just do much better directly sowed in the ground. I’ll plant some directly in the ground in a few weeks and be able to compare the outcome.
Yes, I’ll do that. I only have the kind you mix into a watering can for right now. I’ll get liquid kind tomorrow. Like I said this is all an experiment for me because a) I’ve never used a greenhouse before and b) I’ve never grown flowers from seed before!
Also here are the sunflowers in the greenhouse! I know they’d do fine being started from seed in the ground once it’s nice enough, I’m just experimenting! But please tell me what I’m doing wrong to get the crusty leaves!
