I know this isn't a hatching egg thread, but I hope its ok to rant to you guys, I'm about to order 6 silkie eggs for 23$ from a nice lady from Facebook, should I go through with it or travel 2 and 1/2 hours to collect 6 eggs for 32$?? I'm so unsure.

My chickens go in at 7:30 every night. Our coop is secured but our fencing ehhh, we should put a wire overhead I think, I'd feel safer but its a pain in the butt to go in and out of to collect eggs.

That's a brilliant idea. I was thinking a scarecrow? But that sounds better!

They were in a 4 foot tall wired/gated fence in a 16x 12x footed inclosure?. I'm thinking a raccoon? Maybe a hawk? I'm not sure to be honest, but thank you for your support. I lost my favorite white silkie.

Later in the day probably around 5-8pm

3 of my chickens were killed, I couldn't find their bodies? Does anybody know what killed them? There was a ton of feathers everywhere in my yard? :(
