Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I will definitely keep that in mind even though I am not supposed to be getting any new breeds Of course, technically it wouldn't be a new breed, just a different color as I already have Old English Games, lol.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I could never dub mine. I actually think they look nicer with the comb but I guess it is just because I am used to seeing mine with combs.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

He really is nice looking and he has made some nice barred chicks. Maybe I will make a few with the barred OEG too if it does turn out to be a roo, just to see what the difference will be.

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I went back out again. Here is a picture of the brown reds that I hatched from yours. It took me several tries to get a picture that does show the red on them. You may be right about the barred. I had looked it over a couple days ago and did not see any saddle feathers but today there may be...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Ok, the first brown reds that I thought were labeled birchen did not come from you Pampered. They came from a swap on here. The brown reds that I got from you are almost black with just a bit of dark red on their heads and necks. I know what you mean about the barred but I was just thinking the...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

Ok, you made me go back outside again (don't do that! It's cold lol. ) because I thought the ones that I got from Pampered that were BB red were all black(I only have the two hens) but I went and looked and they are reddish on the head and neck. Absolutely cool, now I have 4 hens and a roo...

Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I will have to get pictures of mine. Some that I hatched not too long ago, I think, were marked birchen but I don't know what that color looks like, so not sure if that is what they are. I also have some odd hens(can't seem to get a roo), 2 brown reds, 1 barred and 1 spangled.
