Does he have curved sickle feathers? Pointy tips on his hackle feathers. Downward curving saddle feathers? They are pea combs, no? Grey head looks to have only one row of 'peas' where red neck has several... So, IDK...

The one with the red neck feathers looks like a boy to me. Not seeing male feathering in the other one.:confused:
