This is the picture I was wondering if you knew what kind of quail they are.

Ok thanks! I just wanted to be sure I was looking for the right color red! Hopefully, the third one is a girl! I guess I’ll just have to wait and see! Good idea! I’ll have to move them soon! Do you know what color your chicks will be?

I wrote about the foot on another thread. Here I’m trying to figure out if they’re males or females. If anyone is able to help me I’d appreciate it!

Ok @Ravenlover here are the pictures from today! I hope they’re clear enough! The first one is the one I think is a boy. I think I saw red vent feathers on the brown-black one now too. The other white-black one just got her stomach feathers!

Thank you for asking! I’m sorry I’ve been busy this week. It looks like the chicks are actually still growing feathers! The lighter white one doesn’t have the stomach feathers yet (the pin feathers are there) so I was hoping she’d grow them soon so I could send you a picture. The darker white...

Ok thank you! I did have one of my bonded pair (the female) die lately and was able to get a new one. My male quail got along with the new female pretty quickly!
