Hermit crabs won't use the vertical space, so a long tank is much better than a tall one.

👏I!👏screwed!👏up!👏 The dollar per gallon sale at petco ended like a week ago. Now I have to wait 3 months or so before the next one. I can get a 20 gallon tank for my crabs and then have a 10 gallon one to put a betta in.

I keep going back and forth. I'm wondering if I did just put a betta in if he'd just be extra happy in a giant tank? It will depend on the actual measurments/size.

What's wrong with just,,,,,, putting the dirt in? are the air bubbles bad? I'd be having the tank without fish for a month or so anyway to cycle it and make sure that the plants take root properly.
