Thanks for the reply, Woodmort. I'm an EMT and I know how the Good Samaritan laws apply there. I never thought about it concerning donating eggs. I'll have to look into it.

I mentioned donating eggs to our local food shelf to DH. He's concerned that if someone were to get sick after eating our eggs (whether it was from the eggs or not) we could lose our farm in a lawsuit. I guess he has a point, but it makes me sad.
