    Removing duckling from the incubator

Of course! You cannot guarantee it, you're not God! How long would you give them given that the other already tried to hatch?

Wow! Okay..that could be good. We have two others that are similar to that. We will keep those but rid of the first egg I sent you.

    Removing duckling from the incubator

Here is another one of the eggs @RavynFallen: he doesn't slosh, hasn't changed since Tuesday to us, and the air sac is lighter on the exterior of the shell than the remainder of the egg. I don't know what to think.

@RavynFallen if I may bother you with your opinion on this one. Pretty sure he's not with us.

Yes, maybe next time. Just wish it would have ended differently for all of them. Going to go pop the top off of that one. :/

    Removing duckling from the incubator

It's been about 2 hrs since we took him out (we put him back in after) and the last progress was noticed yesterday evening at about 6. Still recommend popping the top off?

    Removing duckling from the incubator

Mine are most definitely not that clear when candled. The eggs were abandoned by Mama duck after a predator came upon her.

    Removing duckling from the incubator

I did. Large, dark shape orangeish goo on top of that followed by a fair-looking air sac. I'm not too experienced to pick out the bills. I figured no progress since Tuesday mixed with a bit of a different color was a big red flag. :(

    Removing duckling from the incubator

Yeah. Had one zipping, hadn't made much progress so we checked on him. No chirping and no movement. Not so sure about my other 4 eggs. They haven't changed much since last Tuesday. Any tips?

@RavynFallen thanks for replying! Although, due to a sad turn of events I don't believe I will be able to make use of your advice.:(

    Removing duckling from the incubator

Hello, quick question off of the answer. Is warm water the best option to clean ducklings? Thanks!
