Wanted to thank everyone that gave help and advice. I think lowering the humidity definitely worked. I ended up getting 4 out of 5 chicks hatched. Have 3 ayem cemanis and 1 black orpington. Thank you!!!!!

You can use the red screw to adjust the temp. Just give it a good 30 mins or so to adjust before making more adjustments. I think 1/4 turn is about 2 degrees

As far as disinfecting, I would think you could do it with Lysol without causing issues. With that said, I have to be completely honest, I would not buy the ECO again ( I got a great deal on a used one BTW ). The internal temp swings from 98.7 to 100.4 depending on the temps in my house. My...

Thank you for the wise words! I am new to this and I am so glad I found this thread!!! I feel much better about the swings now. BTW, I'm on day 16 with a few ayem cemani eggs and I took your advice and have been running at 32-35% humidity so hopefully the lower humidity works. I have marked the...

I have the eco myself and I have the same temp fluctuation issues. Mine will swing a half a degree or so while turning. Also I see a change in the bator temp when the temp in my house changes. When it's 67 in the house, it will drop to 99.0 and when the house is up around 73 it goes up to 100 in...
