Going back to birds looking brassy-
Will washing them regularly keep the brassiness from happening?
What about whitening shampoo, will it get out brassiness?
It is probably near impossible to get away from corn completely. Unless you mix your own feed. It's one of the main ingredients in most animal feeds at local feed stores.
I have just stopped giving cracked corn. I heard the cracked corn make brassy birds from a judge at the poultry show at my...
I just started feeding mine Manna pro gamebird diet. it says it is good for showbirds. You are supposed to mix it with a maintenance diet. I haven't used it long enough to see a difference.
Also I believe cracked corn will make the lights, or any white bird for that matter, brassy. I stopped...

Can I get some opinions on my pullets? In the third picture I don't think she is wide enough. Her tail looks pointed too. But in the other pictures I think the width is decent. I would like to hear some opinions

I am new to brahmas and would like to start breeding sometime in the next couple of years. I got some pullets at a swap that I think might be decent quality. I am trying to learn the standard of large fowl brahmas.
What I have learned from reading this thread and some from the old thread (and...
