My does kindled over the weekend. Had 2 that kindled. Here is a pic of one litter. She had 9 and when i went out tonight to do a thorough check I seen what looked to be a broken blue and a solid blue! So excited! My other doe had 8 kits

Adorable! :love they look fat and happy :D I would clean out most I know that the kits eat moms poo because it gives them the microbes and whatnot for good digestion (anyone can correct me if I'm wrong). Your doing a phenomenal job though!

Yay! So sorry for the single loss. My one doe only ever has 3 or 4 kits every time. Hopefully yours has a bigger one next time :fl. It is always exciting to have new babies!

I don't know about that I have always had more than one doe kindle at the same time so I guess they always smell others on me lol. I would look at the mommy first and see if she does the same thing. I also have a buck that kind of shys away but has been getting better! My other buck is a little...

Oh I know my one doe pulls fur right before she kindles. one takes EVERYTHING out of the nest box and puts it back in with fur pulling usually 2 days before kindling. my first time mommy just 3 weeks ago pulled the day before. They are a mystery! and yes keep us posted! praying for little ones!

Oh man that's horrible! I haven't had that problem yet :fl. I have a bunch of scratches from processing rabbits over the weekend definitely not as bad as you got it though!

Well the one that kindled 3 only ever has 3-4 kits. EVER. but I like that she only has that many because then I foster the ones that have to many with her which she absolutely loves to do! And she was also free so couldn't beat that! The one that had 5 she actually gave birth go 7 but 2 were...

All of them have finally kindled. Here are the counts (all new Zealand's) Lyta-3, Stormy-10, Honey-9 & Punkin'-5. Yay!

:bun I had 3 of my 4 does that are pregnant kindle today! So excited! just waiting for my final one 2 of them are first time mommies. The 1 did very well and pulled a good amount of fur which is great since the highest will be 30 degrees all week! Hoping my last mommy does good!

I lost a kit this morning. Momma most have squished her. They were a week old Monday. I know there are loses all the time but it is still hard every time you lose one. But on a good note the other 7 kits are fat and happy!

Lol it seems like overnight they are getting their fur! The white kits already have a bunch more hair than yesterday! I can't tell as much with the black kits because their skin is the same color! Lol :bun
