Thanks for the info, everyone. Lilshadow, when does their full color come in? This guy's being shy... didn't seem him today. I think he likes roosting on the woodpile. Hope he didn't leave!!!

At first I thought it was wild. But there aren't any pheasants left around here. It's so cute!! It's sitting on the woodpile now.

I was moving my turkey fencing tonight, and noticed a small bird hanging out with them in the pasture. It looks just like this, and I think it might be a young pheasant (I googled pics trying to figure out what it was until I saw this one that it looked like). I don't know where it came from...
