So I guess, my girls are just laying less to nothing, because they are molting right now and they are not too old with 16 mo yet. However they are pets first, egg laying is a nice bonus.........

Are there particular breeds getting older than others, laying more eggs than others when getting older?
My oldest is only about 2 years old and of course still laying very well. They will stay with me forever, no matter what, but out of curiosity: how old is your oldest chicken and do you still get any eggs?
