She was in the floorspace though, not the back & it was a 100 foot drive so I didn't bother tying her.
My vet is a great surgery vet. Not so great at other things like diagnosis but good in surgery. In fact we traveled 3 hours one way to get to her because as I said, I'm not the most trusting when it comes to my baby.
She has already healed up completely from the accident. I would never have run over her if she was on the ground because I never let her off a leash around roads/vehicles. I even hold her when I corner but it just didn't occur to me to do it while I reversed. There's enough guilt trip in that.

Actually, she does seem to be holding a bit of a grudge. She was just getting over it from the accident when this happened. Now when I call her or pat her, she seems a bit nervous which is heartbreaking. I'm just giving her lots of love & I'm sure she will get over it.
