these birds all need that bit of "special care" in my opinion... probably have weak immune systems etc from the bad care and will probably (this year at least) be more susceptible to illness parasites etc. A good supplement with their feed would certainly be advised .

heres an idea Deb... use HER tactics (play stupid) If she contacts you again just play dumb and and not letting her get word in edgewise (as if SHE were not the person these poor birds came from)... say..."Oh GOSH you just would not BELIEVE the support for your pooooor birdies from the chicken...
