    I would lean more toward a rat over a snake if there is evidence of a yolk, as I'm pretty sure the snake just swallows them whole. I'm beginning to think my predator was human-since I posted my sign, I have been getting a lot more eggs. Still need to get a trial cam and may try that minnow...

    Thanks so much! I'll keep that in mind...now that I am shopping for one! Hubby was a gem and got me a macro lens I'd been wanting for my camera...not helpful in the coop situation, but I'm grateful!

    I can't wait to get my trail cam!! This is driving me slowly insane. I can't just sit in the coop every day while the girls are laying haha! They really seemed like they were best friends with this crow-so could very well be possible.
