Just an update, I hatched 4 chick close to Halloween. Punkin, Sugar, and Foxy all girls. I re-homed them to a family that had 2 little girls. Casper ended up being a boy. He is cooped with some chickens one month older than he is. They accepted his friendship, no questions.

2 hatched on day 19, now it is day 20 waiting on 4 to hatch, only one looks to be not going to make it.

The egg I was hoping for from My AC mix is the center egg...You cannot tell from the pic, but it is very light almost military green, like the pad underneath but very light colored. I just saw one of my pullets in a nest box... I am going to set that egg too... She is 1/2 cali white and AC. The rooster is AC mix or OE, I am rooting for ACmix.

Fun! I am on day 15 with 7 eggs and one is ahead of the others. They are from a healthfood store, (one is from my flock.) The store got their eggs locally. My neighbor 1 mile from my house. I also have some from my own coop due on the 7th.

Here is my triple egg- for some reason I only 2 embryos developed.. but I did see a 3rd undeveloping yolk. .

8 eggs were fertile- due on the 27th. One died on day 10, and one is the Triple yolk some people are probably following. (currently day 13.) most are health food store eggs, I have more that are due the 7, that are from my newly laying hens.
