Why is it when you add the water, do all the things you normally do, you wake up at 4 AM and the humidity is 54% instead of 65 to 70%? I have now added a warm washcloth in there and still have just 60%. And on top of that my temps have been steady for weeks, now the internal thermometer says...

I'm on lock down too with 5 silkie eggs. I candled last night and put in the hatcher. I have one that I don't know if it will make it. The air cell is on the side. So I put it on its side with the air cell up. I had 32% humidity for the first 18 days and now I have them in the hatcher at 65%...
