    Well,technically even if he is single barred, which I am not completely sure about, he would still produce a percentage of barred and non barred. My intention was to test breed and obviuosly cull,and not breed on with anything that is not properly barred for auto sexing.

    Well,the conundrum here is we want a nice crest and the want to limit a roosters crest for a straight comb. We allow the hen the accomodation on her comb for that crest, why not the rooster then? I have a cockerel with a knockout crest, and of course his comb is not straight, and I will use him...
