How sweet of you Deb! I still have my feelers out...if DH comes across one just let me know? The flip side is everyone keeping a lookout finds a roo at the same time and then I have to start a roo farm...lololol
crtrlovr...that is SO sweet. I am 4 hours from Terre Haute and I think Terre Haute is about 4 hours from Paducah KY. Distance seems to always be the problem, darnit! Gas is coming down a bit but I just really can't afford to drive more than an hour or 2 each way in order to get a rooster.

EweSheep...thanks for the good thoughts. Crossing my fingers.
katrinag...I appreciate you keeping your eyes peeled, it is so very kind of you to try to help.
I wish the same, 77 horses! I would give your roo a good home and any many hens as he can keep happy...maybe more? Looking to hatch eggs this spring so really wanting a RIR roo to go with my RIR girls.
I am looking for a single Rhode Island Red rooster. Unfortunately I have nothing to trade but more than willing to buy.
Would like one at least 4-6 months old or so, if possible. If anyone one by chance has an extra, please just pm me? Thanks in advance!
