What I do is separate the egg and feed just the yolk raw. They will gulp it down too. Since that is what they use for all their first nutrition, it is custom made with what they need. Unfortunatey, they aren't separated. I use feather site to know exactly what each baby should look like.
YAYYYYYY for babies!!!!! Can't wait to see yours!!!
Alright, here are baby pics. Pardon the quality....used my cell phone instead of my goood camera. Too cool...you got the same kind of NN I did...one black one reddish.

Don't worry, it will be here before you know it!!!! I hope you get the ones you are wanting! I have bought from a feed store here, and I agree, it makes it nice not having to worry about the babies dying in the mail, etc.
Oh I know!!!! I have never opened a box with a dead baby yet and don't want to start now!!! Can't make my hubby open the box all the way from Turkey though!!!
Had a shipment lost that took almost 4 days to arrive and all were alive, though one died later. It was warm then though.
I am...
OHHHHHHHHHHH they are so adorable!!!! makes me want to kiss and snuggle them. I hope my babies arrive in the morning safe and sound. I don't think I am going to be able to sleep tonight!!!
Don't feel bad. It's not just you. Mine aren't here either. i think at some larger post offices it might be possible they would arrive later in the day. I know it won't at my little post office.
*SIGH* bantams........you know, somewhere on this website is a post I made......months ago. It was a thread about what kind of chickens you absolutely do NOT like. My only two answers......naked necks and any bantams. Naked necks because I thought they were too ugly (see that I ordered...
If I can 100% for sure tell the extras the day I get them, I might grow them out to eat myself. However, if there is any doubt I will get attached and have to give them away. I am too soft. Sounds like your hubby is definitely a keeper.

I think that just depends on who your order from. With Ideal there is just a minimum amount you have to spend. I don't recall seeing a minimum number on anything they sell.
My hubby is excited, too, but that is because this order includes HIS dream chickies!!! He emailed a bit ago to ask how long he has before I will force him to have them named! LOL These things take him time.
I am getting
2 Barred Holland (these go to my mother)
4 female 1 male La Fleche...
Awwwwwwww............it does look like they are busy with the BYC crowd!!!! Congrats on all the new babies, guys!!!
It is pitiful, I had to force myself not to go ahead and fill the feeder and waterer already!!! LOL It is completely set up except for that, though!!!
Mine are coming from Ideal, too!!!! We will have to compare babies!!! What are you getting? Good luck, can't wait to see all the new babies everyone is getting right now!!!
New feeder and waterer, a layer of pine shavings covered with paper towels, a new heat lamp bulb, the PO notified.......and OMG!!!!! My babies ship in the morning! I will start holding my breath in the morning and will, most likely, not take a breath until they arrive safe and sound. Wish me...
