There is absolutely no shame in loving Beanie Babies! I have more of them than my kids. In fact, I have a pink rat beanie baby keychain hanging from my rear view mirror on my car. LOL I wonder if they have a hedgehog keychain. Oh how cute that would be!!!

We have actually had two on freecycle here in the past few months. I practically had to break my fingers to keep from emailing them about getting them!!!
No, you don't have to do anything special to keep them. We have a breeder here who has absolutely gorgeous ones. It is one of my dream pets.....I just don't need any more animals. *SIGH*

I think they eat fruit/vegetation/insects stuff like that, but I am not sure. I have always wanted one!!! I know it sounds silly but I almost forget they actually live wild. I always think of them as a domestic animal.
