I get most of my ammo from friends that live in other states. At some point we'll have to get a background check to purchase ammo. The law has already been passed, but the system to record all of this new data hasn't been created yet.
Unfortunately, I live in NY. Most places will not ship to NY, and the couple that do will only ship to a FFL, and that adds another $25-50 to the cost.
Wow is ammo about impossible to find. I've got friends calling me asking if I've got a source for ammo. I see bricks of 500 .22LR going for $100 on some sites.
Shot 100's of rounds of trap and skeet. Lots of fun.
Trap is one trap house with the 5 stations behind the trap house in a arch. Shoot 1 round at each bird.
Skeet has a low house and a high house. Some stations are singles, some doubles with crossing pairs. Skeet is muck more challenging.
Haven't hunted with a handgun in many yrs. Killed a few whitetails with them. Nothing big, but it was definitely challenging.
I filled the freezer this yr, two with the bow, and two with the ML. Grand nephews did ok too.
