Wow, that's so cool. Those would be in the same class as machine guns in the US (with a few work arounds).
Here in canada the law is for centre fire rifles and shotguns, that has to be manuel action (pump, lever or break action) and about 26 inches in overall length. No law on barrel size. Seen a few shotguns with barrels around 8.5 inches yet over 26 inches. Making them in the same class as like a goose hunting shotgun.

Interesting. We can have semi-autos, also with a 26" overall requirement. Shotguns have to be 18+" and rifles 16+". Sometimes a "rifle" can be classified as a 'pistol' if has never has a shoulder stock and a barrel <12".

the main thing with semi autos here are they have to have an 18.5 inch barrel and be over 26 inches to remain non-restricted. with a restricted class you can have semi autos with a shorter barrel length (example would be surplus m1 carbines they only have 18 inch barrels making them restricted vs say an sks with a 20 inch barrel making it non restricted)
