Well, The trip was interesting. Just as the action was starting I had to call it off for a family / medical emergency. The crew, the boat, the weather and the seas were perfect and I highly recommend it. Maybe we'll try again soon.
Anyone interested can PM me or look up Venice Marina or Peacekeeper Charters for some great fish porn.

i also got a .25 rim fire rifle. its an old cooey made late 1920s-early 1930s. its in really good shape now just got to get some of that re-loadable brass for it.

I know this post is a few months old and maybe you have gained knowledge that I do not know about, but nobody has replied so I will throw my $.02 in.
Rimfires , as far as I know, and I reload, are not reloadable. Would take specialized equipment (I'm thinking a centrifuge), lack of a commercially available priming medium (I've never seen any) and cleaning out the residue from the priming channel in the rim before reloading would be the deal breaker. Anyway, I have never heard of it being done and none of the loading manuals (and I have many) have any data what-so-ever for reloading rimless cartridges.
With that said, some of the ammo makers still load for rimless cartridges. Midwayusa.com has a run on outdated and obsolete cartridges late in the year. Say from Sept til the supply runs out. And I have seen rimfire cartridges in their catalog.
Wishin You luck on ammo for this firearm and good shootin!

Thank you for the reply. I should of been more clear in my original post. What my plan is to use those brass cases that use a .22 blank for a primer. I know a few companys sell them. Then seat powder and bullet over this blank for a semi reloadable rimfire case.

The other option am looking into is use .17 wsm cases cut down to .25 rim fire size (as the 17 wsm is a necked down .27 nail gun blank)

Hoping this works out good. Will post results when i get more work done on this project.

I thought You was pullin our legs but was just cruisin the net and saw somethin on You tube about this very thing, Did not have time to watch any videos but probably will in the future. Seems like it may be a lot of trouble but could be worth it for a firearms with ammo that is unavailable. Would still keep an eye on Midway for ammo.

I was going to do a short missive about Smith & Wesson moving from Springfield, MA to Maryville, TN.

Then I realized there was more to this story. A lot of gun people don't realize there is a lot of carnage going on in the industry.
COLT is owned by a Chech holding company that owns CZ.
H&R was aquired by MARLIN who was aquired by REMINGTON who was aquired by RUGER.
HERSTAL (Belgium) owns FN, BROWNING, WINCHESTER & MIROKA.

You would think that gun makers would be printing money but I guess that's why I'm not rich.
