Nothing to worry about. It's how birds keep their feathers shiny and waterproof. If you watch them during preening they will reach back to the gland to get some of that oil and than they apply it to their feathers. Repeat until everything is oiled and in place.

Is that in front of the tail? If so it's the oil gland used during preening.
