I have heard from others that purchased Sandhill Whites that they are too small for proper type. But I have never seen them myself. I have ordered other breeds from Sandhill in the past and they had poor type and some disqualifications for exhibition.

Thank you Dan. According to the breeder the splash and cuckoo colors are due to a black/white cross. I am not positive but I believe the breeder said that if you cross these colors back to white they breed back all white chicks. However, I need to check and confirm with the breeder...

The wire is 4 inch squares if that helps. They are larger than any of the hatchery Minorcas I've seen but not as big as the best black SC Minorcas I've seen. However, to he honest my experience with Minorcas is limited. Thanks for your input.

I found a breeder in Idaho. He has worked on whites for quite some time. They are still a work in progress.
