here its a Mediterranean climate so Mourning doves are here year round. Normally our hills are covered with Oat Hay and mustard.... all grow wild where the fires have cleared everything else. Good forage for birdies... But these past few years... sigh. Even the pigeons are getting...

Oh and I have one of those tube feeders with the array of perches..... the finches pilfer.... and the Mourning doves walk around under neath and do alot of Burping.... they just stand there and wait for the sound of seed hitting the concrete... deb
