we took your advice and yesterday after finish placing the net on the run we moved our hens to the new coop.
Apparently they are enjoying. Altough we are kind of concerned because the water is now outside the coop, an they have to go down the ramp into the run and drink it...
Let's...
Thanks for the excellent help. We will be moving our hens to the coop between today and the end of the week
We will post some more info later on. About the hens vs Roos thing, we will have to wait
Thanks once again.

We were thinking of placing the heat lamp inside the coop, will they know by this age when to return to the heating of the coop? or do we have to grab them and placed them inside?
Overall, they all are feathering I can see them in the morning stretching the wings and when we hold them we can see. we will try to take better photos tonight. There's no feathers in the belly tough
Just one last question, to taken outside the brooder to the coop, should I wait for another 4 weeks?
The weather here in Portugal now averages the 15ºC night and 30ªC day...
Thanks once again
Two Roos?!???!
damn, my neighbors are so going to kill us...
In Portugal you can't buy chickens in stores or via Internet, you have to buy them in the local grocers market...and the guy told me that they were all hens... darn, o well let's just see how it goes.
Thanks for the help
Regards...
We have 3 hens that we bough on our local market, and since we are new to this, we would like to know how old are they..
