I'm sure if you have one boy with girls it would be ok. I think my main issue was that they were all coming of age and trying to be "the man". The boy I ended up keeping is pretty quiet when he crows, and he doesn't do it often.

In my experience, which is limited, once they got to 4/5 weeks they crowed constantly! I only hatched out 13 but 9 were boys. One of the boys was exceptionally loud but the one I kept has a very low call, which doesn't bother me. I'm sorry I haven't heard a button call but if you keep the males...
