I definitely keep an eye on him, because I don't trust him not to hurt them, but thus far he's amused himself greatly by running back and forth outside of the pen barking at them.
Yes, they certainly did love sleeping in it. My last two babies that are in the house (lavender orps that are getting big enough to go out now) like to roost on the straight feeder I've given them. They're hilarious.

Their cousins are doing well. The Orpingtons are making me laugh all the time. Boy, do they love to fly!
The ducks are in a temporary holding pen while I revamp their coop. One of them had to be separated because it was being super mean to the rest.
The three black and yellow ones are Rouens (they are seriously the friendliest of the bunch. They'll snatch greens out of my hands and tilt their heads back and forth when I'm talking to them like they're trying to figure out what I'm saying) and the brown ones are Khaki Campbells.

May I also say that I feel that I'm really a farmer again. I was up at 0400 this morning (I get up that early to get ready for work), cleaning out my duck brooder because my stupid butt was too lazy to do it last night. 😒
