    Cocci is in your soil and sounds like you've got it bad in your soil. It is a protozoa which gets eaten by the birds as oocysts. When did you expose them to the soil? Just because they are on medicated feed, doesn't mean that can't get it. If the geese are on the same dirt as the chickens...
