I know that I wouldn't have to add gutters where I am. We hardly get rain in Northern Utah, but it seemed this year was an exception. We do get fairly heavy snow in the winter though.

That looks very nice. I just don't think I could bring myself to give up any garden area, in fact I'm taking a piece that is visible from the road that really didn't have anything done with it and I'm making it a place for berries and melons. I wouldn't want to put a permanent coop there...

I need to get an updated picture of the coop, I didn't realize until just looking that it was the picture of entirely white. I painted the top beam a nice dark purple as kind of a tribute to my mom. She passed away last year at the age of 52 after battling cancer three times in her life...

I am going to try to move the ark into a somewhat sheltered spot between my house and the fence in the winter. I will probably cover at least one side of the run with a tarp to help keep the wind and snow from building up under there. We typically end up with a few feet of snow each year, so...
