Set my very first eggs today (due March 24th) - need a hatching buddy!

Quote: The basic egg color will remain the same. A hen that lays a green egg will lay shades of green her whole life. A hen that lays a brown egg will lay shades of brown. The depth or shade of color can vary due to age, weather, diet and enviromental changes such as stress.

First one out! And early too. 1 of 11 shipped eggs, so far 7 have pipped. Hey where is everyone??!!!! Don't you know the early bird gets the worm? Kicking back and taking a rest! It's hard work hatching. Only 2 pips with my 29 Barnevelder eggs, but they aren't really due until the 25th

I SHOULD be cleaning the house or doing yard work.....but, I can't pull myself away from the bator because the eggs are pipping. Maybe tomorrow I can get some work done. Wait! but tomorrow I'll be hanging around the brooder watching chick tv. Oh well, another day wasted.
