They do if they're startled, but otherwise just kind of poodle around. I guess if they got really bored they might, but they'd probably stay in the fence for a day or so. One of my d'Uccles flew on top of my house (like 20-25 ft up and 10 ft over to it) because one of my big girls chased her...
The littles (the 2 POL d'Uccles and the ~1mo d'Uccle and EEs) are prime hawk snack size, so they're confined to my patio for outside time. They have a run in the yard as well but they bicker less on the patio :)
@PippinTheChicken have I dabbled in the devil's lettuce or are those eggs standard sized? I have a Brinsea Mini II Advance and that looks like the standard egg plate
