Lol. There are quiet a few. The RiceStonian, Neillsville, Ladysmith, Fall Creek etc. ther is a list of all of them (as the year goes adds them). Just google for small animal swaps in wi (or wherever you're looking for). What ducklings were you looking for?
Your best bet is either Craigslist (as the buy/sell/trade site here is completely wacky for looking) or via the American breeder list. You should be able to find that via Google I think.
Hi blueraven. Yea, seems this thread is pretty dead. I got ducks and geese also, plus some chickens and pheasants. I'm located in NW Wisconsin tho in the boonies ;)
If Mama takes care of the babies bring her in with them. Less work that way plus she doesn't feel cheated and may nip at you (hope she takes them back, usually does).
If the family are usually in a sheltered coop I would even consider leaving them outside, just maybe put a heat lamp out there...
Yes, my SO fell in love with the white birds and we got some hatching eggs about 4 years ago. We breed and raise them ever since, unfortunately not much interest in these pretty birds.
Not sure how the name came about, maybe cause they are white like Alaskan snow? Not sure, but they're not from...
You should have seen some already Miss Lydia, but I can try to post what I got on my phone. Otherwise you'd have to wait til the weekend when I can get to the puter to upload some more!
Here ya go...
