    My name is Jim and, while I don't live in WI, I endorse this. ETA: while I don't use 2 X 4's for roost, I do use 3-inch+ in diameter ash poles with bark on that I cut 25 years ago. Also I feed a combination of BOSS and scratch in the evening when I lock the birds up.
