    Beautiful photo Coons and possiums can both climb that fence, they don't have to fit threw the gaps. just sayen small gaps will not stop them from going over if they are to big, you need a good guardian dog , your place sounds plenty big and fenced is a hudge bonus if you have close neighbors.

    New 2 Mabe not to big peas but possums eat mice and rats if they can and they will take a chick and eat it starting at the rear so will a rat if it is hungry enough. You are right the hen will cover the babies on the ground but they are not much protection from wildlife so safety can be an issue

    Guinea eggs are the easiest eggs i ever hatched, when they start hatching my incubator looks like it is popping corn LOL I have no problems hatching duck or goose eggs in my bator and she has a nice one , so i bet she will be fine with it.
