My 1 year old, old english game bantam just started limping after my brother dropped her while holding her. She is now perching only on her one, uninjured leg. She began preening and pecking at injured leg. What might be happening? How can I help her? Please help!

Don't they stretch out their wings and kind of float down if they fall? If it was a dog I would suspect a leg injury from the fall but birds break their fall with their wings.

However, if she is limping and roosting on one foot there is definitely something the matter. Maybe she just landed wrong and sprained a tendon. I can suggest a specific treatment if this were a dog that might transfer to chickens but lets see if anyone has some great chicken advice for you first.

Maybe you can message the guy who posted this info @Eggcessive . He really seems to know his stuff.
Somebody had posted pictures of a leg problem and he came back with this reply. Hope it helps.

That appears to be either a slipped tendon, or a leg bone deformity known as Valgus deformity. There is no treatment, but depending on the severity, the chick may be able to get around well enough to survive with some extra attention. I would give it a poultry vitamin/mineral since many of these things are caused by deficiency in the parent stock. Here is some reading that may help:
