Hey Y'all! I'm a new chicken mom with 7 chicks that are 2.5 weeks old. I need some guidance!

Last week, I started putting my girls outside in their small brooder where they can catch bugs and enjoy the fresh air. I'm in upstate SC so temperature regulation during the day has not been any issue, and I bring them in under their heat lamp at night. I've been given advice to build them an outdoor brooder for them till they're 6 weeks old, then a coop for them for the rest of their lives. Is there a way too build a coop/brooder hybrid to make my life easier? Any advice is welcome!

Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. Sorry I can't come up with an outdoor brooder idea but, They will be able to go out to a coop soon - so it would be best to get going on that project. You could always hang a brooder lamp over some corner of the coop for nighttime. The chicks would go underneath only if they needed it.
