He looks like he hatched with hemorrhoids. Is this normal? Do I need to do anything for him??!
 
That is a partially unabsorbed yolk sac. Get him into a cup lined with paper towels so he can't drag it around and rupture it. Wait and give him time and see if it absorbs.
 
Oh that's not good, it looks like it ruptured and on top of that now the intestines are coming out :(

Unfortunately there's not much to do for that. The best thing to do may to cull the little thing to end its suffering.
 
I'm gonna see about getting some other people in here for advice, just in case, so hang tight and don't cull just yet.
 
Oh, no... Pyxis is correct, that's intestines... very, very rare have I heard any chick survive that... may be best to just cull it...

If you can't though, you can take a clean, sterilized piece of thread and tie it off at the belly... nothing you can do about the part already out, but if it pulls out more it will certainly suffer more and die... :(
 
Okay....well...best to do it now while my son is still asleep. This ****** sucks. He was so excited
