Roosting. In A Tree. In Deepest NW Montana.
Yep, and then this happened. Yesterday. So I figured I better post it in the Turkey Forum as there are quite a few pics!

How do you all like my new Wild Turkey Flock (lol)? That is a Mountain Ash tree they are in. I am surrounded by tree roosting birds. Including my own chickens! P.S. Don't worry, they all flew down to the road and toddled off...I am not capturing them!

But it was hilarious! Thanks for letting me share the funny stuff! The Tom found the tree and did not eat, simply watched out for and encouraged his hens, It was adorable. There were up to about five in the tree at one time! Now I know why there was one scoping out the area two days ago...will post those pics in a bit...

Also the Tom clucked at me several times when I was calling my chickens: they didn't answer me but he did, about five times, and I couldn't figure out where the cluck was coming from! Then I looked UP and found him in the tree.
