New to the forum

Good morning! I am very new to chicken raising. We moved into a new home about four months ago and there was a dilapidated chicken coop in the backyard. My six-year-old son was very excited at the prospect of having chickens and decided he wanted a white one and was going to name it fluffy Williams for whatever weird reason. As we were moving our belongings into the house, up wandered a white rooster!! I was truly amazed and believe God sent him as a sign of good to come here in our new home

ever since that day we had become rooster parents- The chicken coop is still dilapidated as were working on the inside of a 1927 house but are hoping to get a few hens come spring to keep fluffy entertained! Thank you to everyone who has put their pointers and tips - so far it is been a big help!
