Hey I am Tyler and I am new to this site. I'm excited to learn more about chickens and how to care for them. I was just wondering what breed this hen is. She is about three months old, and does not have a large comb or wattles. Any ideas?

Your hen is still young and will probably get larger wattles as she matures. Does she happen to have feathered legs? She resembles my young Black Copper Marans pullets. Where did you get her?

We got her from a friend who breeds chickens. She does not have feathered legs either. At first I thought she might have been a Sumatra.
 
Maybe you can find out what breeds your friend has and figure it out from there. Her leg color will probably narrow it down a bit, too. She's very pretty!

Yeah that's what we'll probably do. She is the friendliest hen of the flock compared to our leghorns. Thanks for the help!

Sorry I am not good with breeds.
