DH found Zane upside down, eating out of his food bowl. Not an accident, Zane does this on purpose, I feel, to get the pressure off his bent legs since he cant stand up.

The first time I caught him doing this, he was upside down IN his food bowl, LOL. I couldnt tell how he was twisted up, but when I touched his leg, he flipped over instantly. He manages to get around in his kennel and do what needs doing. He's so fussy about sitting in poop that if I find him crammed against the door, it's usually because he pooped bigtime in the back of the kennel and is trying to get out of it. He waits for us to clean it up. He is an amazingly intelligent boy.

How does he move around so well?

He stands on his good leg, using his wings as crutches and hops around. He manages pretty well, actually, though he obviously cannot maneuver well enough to take care of himself if he was being picked on. So, he lives sort of by himself, inside Suede's coop. He's not completely alone because he can see Suede and the girls next to his area.
