I let my birds out about an hour ago. (they are about 19 weeks) I have 8 BA roos after the coon wiped out most of my pullets. I also have a VERY large yard I mow about 2 1/2 acres.
I just went to let the dogs out and most of my girls were on my front porch.

They we either looking for bugs in my flowers OR trying to get away from raging hormones. The boys were all at the bottom of the porch like they were waiting for them for a date! Can't wait for them to go to freezer camp Thurs. ready or not.
Now to go get the poo off the porch.

Nova >Glad to here you sister is doing better.
And spinning 3 yr. old boys make me glad I had girls!

Thoughts and prayers are still with Daron's family.

Wow big brother is watching beware.

Funny how, just when the ship was righting itself, an admin comes in and churns the seas a bit. I didn't know that happened here. Huh.

Nova, first I'm glad your sister is healing well. Great news. Second, that was a darn good auto correct. Thanks for the snicker.

Theron, that's a great logo!

Now that Penny's moved to the farm, our black australorp (Alice) has decided that people are not the worst thing in the world. Interesting dynamics playing out in the yard. I *think* I've decided to wait until next spring to increase our flock (now 2).
