Sometimes, the fan has 3 wires. One of them is for ground/trip or something, I don't really know or care. The other two is a hot and neutral line. Those are the two you need. On the computer fan, there should be a tiny sticker stating the voltage of the fan. Find a old transformer or cell phone charger with similar output voltage and cut it. Strip the plastic/rubber covering and twist the hot wire of the charger/transformer and computer fan together. Repeat with the neutral. Sometimes it's hard to tell which one is which. Do trial and error and when the fan runs, you've got it right. MAKE SURE THE OUTPUT IS NOT 110V or 120V. This can shock you. With a cell phone charger or transformer with much lower output, you wont' experience electrical shock.
